Meet The 2020 Interesting Times Writing Challenge Winners

Our first writing challenge of 2020 is complete, and it’s time to share more about our winners. With more than 50 entries to the “Interesting Times” competition, it was difficult to choose. Technical quality was a factor, but so was having an inspiring story or useful tips to share with our community of members.

Each winner received a check for $250 and a publication credit here on our site. Our winners are…

Challenge winner Sally Morem

Sally Morem 

Sally has recently finished The Accelerated Program for Six-Figure Copywriting and the Content Marketing Strategy program through AWAI.  She has written essays on numerous subjects over the years.  She summers in northern Minnesota and winters in southwest Florida.

Brenda Sanchez 

Currently living on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida, Brenda is a proud Military Mom, Grandma, and aspiring Freelance Copywriter. Her diverse background includes a childhood packed with “working for Dad” in the family F&B businesses and 25 years in the Casino industry.

Terry Stone 

Terry Stone, MBA, PMP, is a government retiree. She’s currently working to sharpen her email marketing campaign writing skills, as well as developing an online business presence.

Erica Bartlett 

Erica L. Bartlett combines her love of writing, interest in the environment, and her technical background as a copywriter and content writer for green technology companies and environmental groups. She also enjoys reading, cooking, walking, playing with her cats, volunteering, and time with family and friends.
